Youth Support (MPYS)

1. About this service

   Provides personal support to young people who need an opportunity to have a chat with a qualified youth worker regarding any issue of concern to them. In addition to the one-on-one support, youth workers can also provide advocacy and referral as appropriate in relation to specific services such as counseling, drug and alcohol support, housing, employment or mental health services. All personal support is provided in a manner that respects the confidentiality of those involved. There are a range of options available in order to access the personal support service, including centre-based drop-in, home visits, school, workplace or local café visits.
