About this service
Provides young people with an opportunity to gain 120 hours of driving experience required to earn their probationary licence. Also pairs young people up with volunteer mentor drivers with learners with limited or no access to supervising driver or vehicle. Funded by the TAC.

Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the Mornington Peninsula Shire L2P learner driver mentor program, learner drivers must: Hold a current Victorian Learner's Permit; have significant barriers that prevent them from accessing a suitable supervising driver (i.e. parent, relative or significant other); have significant barriers that prevent them from accessing a suitable vehicle to gain driving experience; and be financially disadvantaged (i.e. applicant or parents/carers receiving Centrelink payments).
