Peninsula Family Violence Program (Good Shepherd)

  1. About this service

    Provides help to women in immediate danger to find safe accommodation. Also provides over the phone support, face to face support and advice, refuge and emergency support, supoprt groups for women, and links to other services like legal or financial counselling.

    The Peninsula Family Violence Program is available to any woman who lives or works on the Mornington Peninsula who is over 18 and is experiencing, or has experienced, violence by a family member. A high-security refuge where women and children from outside the local area can receive short-term accommodation and support. Also provide outreach support, children’s counselling, referrals and advocacy to other service providers and pathways to emergency / refuge accommodation for people who are experiencing domestic violence.
