Community Garden - Social Group (MI Fellowship)

About this service
Provides an opportunity to be apart of a social community garden. Groups are for carers and people with a lived experience of mental illness. The Community Garden is specifically designed for people living with a mental illness. Participants in the group will have the opportunity to learn and share skills in a supportive community environment, participate in growing and harvesting fresh vegetables to take home, participate in working bees, access the garden every day to meet and socialise with like-minded people.

Eligibility criteria
The community garden group and the activities are open to any person with a mental illness who is currently linked into a Mental Health Service in the Peninsula region.
