About this service
Provides accommodation and support for homeless youth between the ages fifteen and twenty-one. Eight beds are available on-site as supported accommodation. Fusion Mornington Peninsula (FMP) has a strong community approach, with live-in mentors providing a sense of stability and a family like environment for clients of the service. There is also a team of community volunteers who offer a range of skills, programs and support to further assist the young people in their development. FMP also provides Outreach and Support which includes: • Providing support for young people in transitional properties • Three months support to people who have successful acquired public housing • Outreach support to young people who are at risk of becoming homeless. This includes helping people maintain private rental or shared accommodation or working with young people who need support to stay or return home with parents, • Interim response to young people who are on prioritisation lists and waiting other housing options in the homelessness sector, • Access to HEF to assist in maintaining a tenancy
