Case managed young clients are often successful in acquiring private rental and this agency organises brokerage for PRAP funding, rent in advance, application for bond and ongoing case managed support to ensure the tenancy is securely established. Additionally for those young people that are severely disadvantaged we submit Office of Housing applications but the wait time for a property is still far too long (up to ten years or more) unless the young person identifies a country area where the waiting lists move more quickly.
